Outcaster is more than a radio show. It’s a creative
project where music, storytelling, and characters
come together in one continuous broadcast.
ABOUT
THE SHOW
Outcaster Radio is a long-running broadcast shaped
as much by music as by the voices behind it.
Led by Captain Tanaka, the signal unfolds through conversations, curated sound, and the evolving dynamic of the crew.
What began with a different purpose has since transformed into something else entirely — a space where stories, personalities, and unexpected moments become part of the broadcast.

At the core of Outcaster is its crew — a mix of distinct
voices, perspectives, and tensions that give the signal its character.
Between episodes, conversations drift from the ordinary to
the unexpected, where small moments can shift the tone of everything.
These interactions, raw and unfiltered, are what shape the experience and keep the broadcast alive.
MEET THE CREW

Outcaster is shaped by the voices behind it. Each member
of the crew brings their own perspective, energy, and story
— all contributing to the signal in their own way.
THE TEAM
BEHIND

Outcaster Radio is brought to life by a team of creators. Lab C is an audiovisual production company created in 2019 with the idea of promoting original, aesthetic, ambitious, and unconventional projects.
A laboratory for horror, comedy, science fiction, animation, and contemporary art,
as well as documentary and non-fiction, through media such as film, theater, digital, and television.

HOW WE
USE AI

Outcaster Radio was created, above all, to build a community.
The story, characters, universe, and artwork are all crafted by talented artists, screenwriters, and audio/visual designers.
SEASON 1
For Season 1, as an experiment, we used AI to assist with scripts, voices, video, and music. This exploration allowed us to maximize the efforts of our small team, push creative boundaries, and scale up our project. The truth is, as artists ourselves, we’re still figuring out how we feel about AI in all capacities.
As the project grows, we’ll share more about our individual processes and personal perspectives. In addition to welcoming fellow Outcasters into the fold, Season 1 is an informal casting call and fundraiser.
For Season 2, we hope to have the budget to feature musicians, voice actors, illustrators, and animators.
